Choosing a Mate

In the wilds the process of choosing a mate is determined entirely by their physical properties; their strength, their courage and their ability to hunt and provide for their family. These principles still apply in many cases throughout the human world; however, since our minds are much more developed than those of our animal brethren there are other factors that should be considered.

The practice of choosing a mate based on their ability to provide for a family is an important one, and while that ability in the human world is not judged by their ability to go out and hunt wild game it is judged on their ability to meet their responsibilities. The amount of responsibility that you are looking for in a mate should be determined by your expectations for your future. If you are attempting to retire at a young age you are going to want a mate who is willing to help you work and sacrifice for that goal.

Think about what you’ve read so far. Does it reinforce what you already know about Law Of Attraction? Or was there something completely new? What about the remaining paragraphs?

On the other hand, if you want to start a family you are going to want to choose a mate who is willing to carry their part of their home responsibilities and possibly put future career advancements on hold. If you are a free-spirit content to go through life as a free-spirit you are going to want to find a mate who shares the same viewpoints you do. Whatever the case, you are going to need to choose a mate who is going to be willing to hold up their half of your future together. While a mate who is undecided as to their path in life and is content to depend on you to make your way may still be enjoyable at the beginning, over time you will come to resent the extra strain that constant worry over financial matters will bring.

Another point to be considered is common interest. Sometimes opposites do attract, a happening that will be discussed in greater detail a bit later on, but as a general rule relationships have a better chance of survival if the parties involved have many key values and interests in common. This does not mean that the two of you need to be identical images of one another; if you did not have differing opinions what would the two of you talk about? On the other hand, if you do not enjoy some of the same activities, what will the two of you do on Friday night? More important than these trivialities is the need for a shared image of your future. While attraction is fine and good at the beginning the relationship is doomed to failure if you cannot chart a common path.

Choosing a mate is not an endeavor that should be taken lightly; choosing incorrectly could result in a life of misery for all parties involved. Take the time to carefully consider what it is that you want in a mate before embarking on the journey.

Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action.

Recycling has been around longer than any of today’s young teens have been alive and maybe that’s why recycling has never been a question for them as to whether or not they should recycle but has always been more of a “How else can we help when recycling,” kind of thought process. My own generation, having grown up in the 70′s has a different mind-set. In fact, I have to remind myself the reasons we recycle, when to recycle and how to keep my family and household up-to-date and aware of the reasons to recycle.

This new, younger generation, is an impressive one, to me. They seem to be aware of humanity on a global level. Lessons they’ve been taught in school on a consistent basis have always had a common theme; take care of the Earth or we may lose it. They are keenly aware of how wasteful prior generations have been and seem to be of one mind when it comes to solving those problems.

When we recycle we are taking a step away from ourselves and begin to think about the Earth as a whole. It has become obvious to us that by recycling our waste we are going to be leaving less waste for future generations to have to deal with and we are taking an active step in keeping the planet ‘around’ for a longer period of time.

Truthfully, the only difference between you and Recycling experts is time. If you’ll invest a little more time in reading, you’ll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to Recycling.

Today’s teens have inspired me by their dedication to helping others who have less than they do and how wasting any commodity or resource we may have, the idea of wasting it is simply not an option. They are forever coming up with new ways to reduce production of an item or they are constantly thinking up ways in which the item can be reused; they do this without needing to “think” about it, it’s the only way of life they’ve known.

There is an organization that has taken something many of us take for granted and figured out a way to pass on to those who are unable – to feel a little normal. Locks of Love takes hair donated by people and has that hair made into wigs for people who have had their hair fall out due to chemotherapy treatments or as the result of another disease or condition. How brilliant to think of those of us who grow our hair without thought or effort, to be able to have the privellige of helping another! It’s beautiful to me, how this new generation is always thinking about how they can help others.

There are two teens that I know of who took this idea of growing their hair in order to donate it, and dedicated this past summer to doing just that; and the week before school opened in September, sat together and had their hair cuts. What is remarkable about these two teens is that only one is a girl, the other, a young man knew there was a need for other boys his age to have wigs made for them and took on the challenge valiantly. Boys don’t have to have their hair quite as long in order to donate it, but it does have to be grown-out. My awe at teens like these two from town, who at such a volatile age, where self-image is so very fragile, would step out of their comfort zones of following the crowd, in order to do grow their hair long enough for it to be recycled and reused by others, is overwhelming. By stepping out of those comfort zones they leave themselves in a vulnerable situation, where they can become the targets for some of the ridicule that goes on in Middle school; and yet they still do it.

Maybe they are less likely to go against the idea of recycling because of the timing of their birthdates; it’s just refreshing to know that the idea of recycling is strong in this up coming generation and if we continue to foster that innate responsibility in them, we may just keep this planet around a little longer.

Sometimes it’s tough to sort out all the details related to this subject, but I’m positive you’ll have no trouble making sense of the information presented above.

The best course of action to take sometimes isn’t clear until you’ve listed and considered your alternatives. The following paragraphs should help clue you in to what the experts think is significant.

There are so many ways that we can choose to stay environmentally contientious when we travel that there really is no excuse for not doing it.

Here are a few ideas for families that are traveling and still want to stay in their recycle-conscious state of mind.

Before you even leave your home there are ways that you can help save energy and waste. Turn your thermostadts down on your home and your hot water heater. Some heaters have a “Vacation” setting right on them that can be used to set the temperature when no one will be around to need the heat. Just keep in mind the plants that are left behind and as long as they will not be killed off due to the temperature change, you’re set. Be sure to turn off your outside water source, in the event that there is a pipe break while you’re away, this will minimize the damage. When you return home, turn the water back on slowly, where you will be able to be aware of any issues or leaks that may have occurred.

Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Recycling, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

If you are going to be away from home for a few days, stop your newspaper delivery. That way the paper won’t be left to end up in the trash receptical and waste your time when you return home, sorting through what is relavent mail and what is not. You may even want to check to see if your paper can be donated to a school or non-profit organization, where it will be used in your absence.

If you or someone else in your home sleeps on a waterbed, turn the temperature down on that while you’re away, you can go as low as a ten degree difference and it will impact your energy useage. If you have a refridgerator with the ability to make ice cubes, be sure to turn that part off by lifting the wire, and you can lessen the risk of flooding should it break while you’re away.
There are airlines that offer electronic ticketing and by using these services will cut back on the paper waste generated by the airline, on a daily basis. There are even some airlines that charge a fee if you have lost a paper ticket, so rid yourself of any of those problems by opting for the paper-less airline ticket options.

If you are heading out of town, before you leave, go around the house and unplug the items that you would normally leave plugged in, like the TV, the computer, cable converter boxes, appliances, VCRs, stereos, etc. If these items are left plugged in to the outlets they can still draw or “leak” energy, even up to 40 watts per hour, even if they have been turned off. I think this is one of the most important messages to get across before you leave for a vacation; even if your electronics are turned off, they can still cost you money if they remain plugged in. Do yourself a big favor and always be sure to check these items before walking out the door to your vacation.

This interesting article addresses some of the key issues regarding Gain Weight. A careful reading of this material could make a big difference in how you think about Gain Weight.

Generally, gain weight is seen as a positive thing for a person especially is he or she has been recovering from a certain medical condition or illness. But, this increase in body mass is not always considered as positive or good especially if the person is having a rapid weight gain.

As defined, rapid weight gain refers to the excessive gaining of weight in a short period of time.

Although it is not always alarming especially if it is caused by overeating due to holidays or vacations or pregnancy which makes women prone to gaining weight, rapid weight gain should be one of the things that people should pay attention to.

Why? Because this drastic change in weight gain can be a bad indicator of health or can be an indicator of an impending sickness.

What causes rapid weight gain?

Aside from the possibility of pregnancy or just gaining weight through overeating, experts say that people who are experiencing rapid weight gain should seek professional or medical help as soon as possible.

Experts say that when people who are suffering from rapid weight gain should go to a doctor for a consultation the soonest possible time, chances are, they have better fighting chances of the impending health condition.

To most people, rapid weight gain does not only cause them great discomfort but physical and emotional stress as well because they are always thinking of what causes their condition. The following are just some of the causes of rapid weight gain:

It’s really a good idea to probe a little deeper into the subject of Gain Weight. What you learn may give you the confidence you need to venture into new areas.

1. Rapid weight gain can be caused by a serious health condition. Studies show that rapid weight gain?that is not caused by pregnancy or overeating?can be an indicator of serious illnesses that involve the endocrine system as well as the heart and lungs of a person.

2. It may indicate perilous retention in the body?s fluids. This is very dangerous for the person because he or she might experience fluctuations in the body fluids which can be hard to sustain and monitor.

3. Rapid weight gain can be sign of imbalance in body?s nutrients. This is the very common reason why people gain weight. Since they don?t eat the standard size of food servings every meal, the level of the nutrients in the body tends to fluctuate. But, if the person does not have drastic changes in eating patterns and his or her weight goes up suddenly or without apparent reason, chances are, he or she needs medical attention as soon as possible.

4. This can be caused by thyroid problems. If the thyroid get active than its usual rate, then, rapid weight gain will follow. This is because the thyroid has the ability to control the amount of food intake through satiety levels of the person. Once it is overactive, chances are, it cannot perform its normal functions and will lead to certain conflicts in the person?s physiological state.

If there is a suspicion that weight gain is caused by a thyroid problem, the person should seek medical attention as soon as possible so he or she can be given proper medications to control the thyroid.

5. Rapid weight gain can also be caused by certain food allergies. When a person has allergic reactions to certain foods, things, or smell, he or she can exhibit various body responses such as developing rashes and irregular breathing. In others, the manifestation of these allergies may result to rapid weight gain.

To avoid rapid weight gain caused by allergies, it is always best to be informed about the things that have allergens so you will not have to suffer form gaining too much weight.

Is everything making sense so far? If not, I’m sure that with just a little more reading, all the facts will fall into place.

Many people wonder why the idea to regulate accounting is becoming so popular. Due to past experiences with manipulating accounting figures, it is no wonder that accounting has been under so much scrutiny. This is the reason why so many people feel it is time to regulate accounting, due to so many companies not abiding by the rules set forth. Because of the many negative incidents that have occurred with different scandals and schemes, there has been a lot of mistrust form the public in the accounting field. To regulate accounting, will give confidence back to the public. Here are some of the benefits that will arise when we set higher standards to regulate accounting.

A majority of the public feel that accountants are working in the interest of their own company and the companies that they work for, instead of working to inform the public properly. When you regulate accounting, this prohibits any company and accounting firm to hide the truths about the company and its financial status form the public. The regulation of accounting, will force companies and their accountants to be more open and straightforward about their financial dealings and show their true financial situation.

When you regulate accounting, it will play an important role in the stock market as well. There are many mixed feelings about investing in publicly traded companies, because of the capabilities to hide a companies financial distress. If you regulate the accounting laws, then it will lower the chances of a company being able to manipulate any financial reports shown to the public, which is a dilemma that has happened in the past.

When you regulate the accounting laws, you will hold corporations and public organizations responsible or their actions. This is a very important part in regulating accounting practices. With tougher laws in place to prevent fraud and to prevent special favors, the public will be safer against fraud. To regulate the laws, will let not accounting firms and businesses alike, aware that they will be held accountable for their actions. Not only will this give confidence back into the accounting field, but it will also deter fraudulent activities in the accounting industry due to the strict consequences.

The most important reason to regulate accounting laws, is to protect the public. Whether it is a publicly traded company, or a company that gains a majority of investments form its workers, both alike need to be protected form fraudulent activities. This is very important and is why the government has leaned to regulate accounting and its laws and practices. It has been proven by past experience, to not have strong accounting guidelines in place and enforced, only leaves room to lead to a disastrous result.

There are many mixed feelings regarding the ideas to regulate accounting. However, despite the mixed opinions, the idea to regulate accounting is strong. It is not only the responsible thing to do, but it will also safeguard the public form companies and fraudulent activities that could occur. To not regulate accounting laws and practices will only leave room to gather more mistrust in the accounting.

Those who only know one or two facts about Accountancy can be confused by misleading information. The best way to help those who are misled is to gently correct them with the truths you’re learning here.

Styrofoam is a closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam material that?s made for thermal insulation, packaging and other craft applications. The Dow Chemical Corporation owns the trademark for the product, and this is used for a wide range of applications. Among these include insulated sheathing, pipe insulation, packaging and craft applications. Styrofoam is also placed under roads and other structures to prevent freezing, thawing and other soil disturbances.

The Terrible Environment Legacy of Styrofoam

Because polystyrene is made from petroleum, it?s highly-flammable and contains a toxic chemical called benzene. Styrofoam is known to take a long time to break down once it?s disposed and thrown in a landfill. It has been noted that animals who ingest it incurred blocks in their digestive track, causing starvation and death. Styrofoam continues to be a commonly-used material, because it?s used for padding in appliance packaging, and for storing different food items. Because of Styrofoam?s highly-toxic nature, nearly two dozen cities in the United States have banned its use for whatever purpose.

Neat Ideas For Recycling Styrofoam

Is everything making sense so far? If not, I’m sure that with just a little more reading, all the facts will fall into place.

Instead of just throwing Styrofoam straight into the garbage bin, you can actually recycle this material, and create in into different items or products. Here are a few important guidelines for recycling this toxic, non-biodegradable material.

? You can actually use Styrofoam as a fishing float. You can also turn it into a pool, bath or beach toy for your kids. Slice or cut out simple shapes, and make a sail using a toothpick, lollipop or some thin stick. You can also design Styrofoam into rings or squares that the children can use as a float in the pool.

? Styrofoam boxes can also be used for leftovers to help germinate seeds. Make a few holes in the bottom layer, then add some dirt, seeds and water. Styrofoam blocks can also be used in vases for making unique silk flower arrangements. You may also cut Styrofoam strips into flat strips for use as plant markers. Styrofoam meat trays may also be used for placing your watercolors, paint, clay dough and other materials.

? In the United States, the Alliance of Foam Packaging Recyclers has organized a mail-back initiative, where consumers can send their polystyrene packages or trays through the regular postal service. However, if you really got a lot of Styrofoam in your storage room or cellar, you may be able to make some money out of it. You can refer to the Recycled Plastic Markets Database, and look for buyers of a wide array of plastic and polystyrene packaging.

While it may take some time before the use of Styrofoam and other polystyrene products is discontinued, all of us need to continue dealing with the Styrofoam that ends up in our hands or kitchen tables, and also ensure that it doesn?t end up in our landfills. The good thing is that expanded polystyrene foam packaging is being recycled at a rate of around 10 to 12 percent each year, which is a good start at least.

That’s how things stand right now. Keep in mind that any subject can change over time, so be sure you keep up with the latest news.

The following paragraphs summarize the work of Recycling experts who are completely familiar with all the aspects of Recycling. Heed their advice to avoid any Recycling surprises.

Recycling, or the method of re-processing and reusing waste items and materials, has long been practiced by many societies. Artifacts and archeological studies have indicated that as early as 400 BC, ancient waste dumps have shown less household wastes, especially during periods where there was a reported scarcity in resources. The lack of household wastes in ancient dumpsites has clearly shown that more waste was being recycled, due to the scarcity of new materials.

Recycling During The Pre-Industrial Age

During pre-industrial times, there was clear evidence of the collection of scrap metals like bronze, iron and steel in Europe. These scrap items were often melted down and formed into new products.

In medieval England, people collected ash and dust from wood and coal fires, and these were used as base material for brick-making. During these times, recycling was motivated by the economic advantage of getting recycled feedstock, instead of simply buying new raw materials. The absence of a public waste removal and disposal system also made recycling a necessary task during these times.

The Lack Of Resources Encouraged Recycling During Wartime

It’s really a good idea to probe a little deeper into the subject of Recycling. What you learn may give you the confidence you need to venture into new areas.

The outbreak of two major world wars in the early 20th century brought crippling shortages of precious natural resources. These major world-changing occurrences dipped available resources, and forced governments to encourage recycling. During World Wars 1 and 2, governments urged their citizens to conserve wood, paper, textiles, fiber, and even donate metals and precious jewelry. During these timess, governments and private businesses organized strict resource conservation programs, which were often continued even after the war ended.

Recycling During The Post-War Era

Recycling went full steam even after World War 2 ended. During the 1970?s, rising energy costs and the oil embargo forced companies and governments to heavily invest in recycling initiatives. The idea of placing a recycling trailer behind the back of a waste management vehicle allowed for the easy collection of garbage and recyclable materials in most US cities.

The economic boom of the post-war years eroded the ideals of conservation and the wise use of resources from the consciousness of most people in the developed world. However, the growth of the environmental movement, and the celebration of the first Earth Day in 1970 put conservation and recycling back in the mainstream. While recycling has not yet been fully accepted by some societies, recent figures suggest that public acceptance, and the market for recycled products, has significantly risen. Today, most cities and towns have laws and enforced systems for collecting and handling recyclable material.

One of the major reasons for the increasing popularity of recycling, is the need for reducing the amount of garbage sent to landfills. The recycling initiatives of today have already diverted 32 percent, or 60 million tons of garbage, from our landfills.

Now you can be a confident expert on Recycling. OK, maybe not an expert. But you should have something to bring to the table next time you join a discussion on Recycling.

In today?s fast-paced and stressful times, the environment too bears the heavy brunt of our wasteful, filthy and irresponsible behavior. But, instead of simply whining about how dirty our air or water is, or just complaining why the government is not doing enough to protect our natural resources, we can actually make a difference by planting trees or taking care of our forests, as well as by recycling at homes, our offices and workplaces. Here?s a look at how recycling helps protect the environment.

Which Materials Are Recyclable?

Recycling refers to the process or re-processing and using used materials, into new products, Recycling helps in preventing the waste of potentially-useful materials or components, and helps in reducing air and water pollution, and aids in the lowering of dangerous greenhouse gas emissions too.

Recyclable materials come in different kinds, from paper, glass, metal, plastic, to textiles and other electronic components. Most cities and towns today have collection centers for recyclable materials, where these items are cleaned, sorted, and re-processed into new products and materials.

Recycling Reduces Contamination, As Well as The Need for New Landfills

Truthfully, the only difference between you and Recycling experts is time. If you’ll invest a little more time in reading, you’ll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to Recycling.

Recycling provides a number of wonderful benefits for both man and the environment. It helps reduce the amount of garbage disposed in landfills, as well as reduces the need for building new landfills. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that there are over 10,000 municipal landfills, and more than 3,000 active urban landfills. Because most of today?s modern landfills are tightly sealed, to protect the environment from possible contamination, they actually inhibit the natural degradation of organic waste materials.

For example, if we recycle all of the newspapers we use, we could actually help prolong the use of each landfill, as well as save millions of trees from being cut down. Recycling also helps reduce the level of contamination of hazardous chemicals and components, which are often found in old computers, cellular phones, toys, TV monitors and other electronic products. Old computer monitors for example contain as much as eight pounds of lead.

Once these harmful substances leach into the soil and underground water, they further spread and contaminate streams, rivers, and water wells, and also taint the fish and other seafood we consume.

Recycling Helps Save Precious Natural Resources

The act of recycling, even within your own home or office, can actually help save precious natural resources. If your recycle old newspapers, junk mail, cardboard, Styrofoam and other materials, you help protect the air, and help save trees from being cut down. Recycling plastic products such as soda bottles, milk, juice and bottled water containers also lessens the need for new petroleum to make these kinds of plastic products.

To help protect the planet, here are a few simple steps that you can follow. Buy only recycled products, and avoid using fax cover sheets as copy materials. You can also print double-sided, or send electronic copies instead of paper. You can also actively promote or initiate a recycling program in your office or community.

In today’s world, it seems that almost any topic is open for debate. While I was gathering facts for this article, I was quite surprised to find some of the issues I thought were settled are actually still being openly discussed.

When people think of accountants, government accountants are not the first type of accountants that come to mind. However, government accountants play an important role in the accounting industry. Government accountants have many duties and functions that serve different purposes. These different functions of government accountants not only help the government, but also protect the public at the same time. Government accountants work hard to make sure that businesses operate honestly and ethically. Government accountants also make sure that the citizens within that government are fulfilling their tax obligations. Here is a overview regarding how government accountants operate.

With businesses, government accountants make sure that a businesses stays completely honest to its investors and to the public. Government accountants do this in more then one way. The first way government accountants oversee businesses, is to cross reference their records to make sure that all of the businesses accountants have reported the businesses finances accurately. This is important, especially for publicly traded companies, because these records can be viewed by the public or by private investors. If the information is not recorded accurately, or if a government accountant sees something that is not right with the business records, then government accountants can report it and take action. Government accountants also make sure that businesses pay their taxes on time and do not cheat the government with tax evasion. This role of the government accountants keeps businesses honest with their records and also ensures that the businesses are paying their taxes to the federal government as they should be.

Government accountants also play important roles with the public. This role not only includes that the citizens of that government pays their taxes on time, but also prohibits illegal methods for obtaining money. This is a very important aspect of government accountants, because like a business, they have the ability to check your financial records to make sure that you are also fulfilling your obligation to paying your taxes as well as making your money legally. This helps the government fight against illegal income methods and encourages its citizens to provide a income from a acceptable way in that society. Because of government accountants constantly monitoring the public, government accountants can identify suspicious activities form individuals and report it. This helps fight against criminal activities. This service from government accountants also helps the government obtain as much money as possible from its citizens with such things as taxes, which helps the government function.

Government accountants play a very important role with businesses, the government and the public alike. Without government accountants in place, there would be no financial monitors for the government, resulting in governments facing many problems. Government accountants also play a vital role to ensure the protection of the the governments and publics best interest. There is no dispute that without government accountants, there would only be disastrous results. Government accountants help ensure the financial balance and honest financial reporting within a government. This is why a governments accountants role is so important and why it holds a great deal of value to the government.

Most of this information comes straight from the Accountancy pros. Careful reading to the end virtually guarantees that you’ll know what they know.

So now you know a little bit about Accountancy. Even if you don’t know everything, you’ve done something worthwhile: you’ve expanded your knowledge.

The Law of Attraction

Let us take a moment to consider the actual “Law of Attraction” and the role it plays in human attraction. The Law of Attraction was developed by members of the New Age Movement who were exploring the potential of the human mind over the body’s future. The Law of Attraction states that “you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your destiny”.

Is this a fact? Can you really make your life into anything that you want it to be just by thinking about it happening? While science has not found a definite link between repetition of a thought, its connection with the subconscious and the role that it plays in a human’s success, that has not stopped people from wondering. There are hundreds of programs out there intended to influence the subconscious and, in doing so, affect the way that they conscious mind reacts in an established situation.

The information about Law Of Attraction presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about Law Of Attraction or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes.

The potential for success in this endeavor exists in that the human mind is greatly influenced by its perceptions and will often make a decision based upon its intuition and feelings regarding a certain matter rather than the established surrounding facts. This means that a person who is timid can program a confidence into their subconscious through the use of these methods, thereby allowing them to portray this confidence to the outside world. The people around them will respond in kind, believing their potential for success to be great based upon the attitude that they project.

How does this affect the laws of attraction of the human race? Take a moment to consider which individual is the most likely to gain your attention and interest, the one who sits quietly in the corner and does not seem to have much to say or the one that carries a confident demeanor and is willing to approach you and strike up a rapport? The simple fact of the matter is that confidence is sexy. People are attracted to people who appear to be comfortable with their lives and their place in it. This confidence will lead to attraction; attraction leads to not sitting home watching reruns on a Saturday night!

Is it true that you can influence your destiny through the power of the Law of Attraction? Certainly. That does not necessarily mean that the cosmos are going to align in order to make your every wish come true; however, with the power of positive thought you can change the way that you approach a situation and give yourself an exponentially greater chance to succeed.
